Oh Father God, You are so good to me,
For in Your Son Your mercies I can see.
In frenzied towns or peaceful country glades
I see just what your loving hands have made.
For in Your Word the prophets heard the call
That sacrifice for sin was free to all.
The sacrificial Passover lamb
Was but a foretaste of Your loving plan.
But man in all his wayward sinful ways
Saw not the wisdom shown in latter days.
Showers of blessing on Your people fell
But few remained, Your praises to forth tell.
And so the Godhead came in human form
To give to man a Godly life reborn.
He healed the sick and calmed the troubled mind.
He taught of saving Grace to lost mankind.
We too have heard that joyful Gospel sound
Of free salvation to a lost mankind.
Lord, help us take that wisdom from above
And teach the world of Christ's eternal love.
